Robertinho
Cricketer Of The Year
I went on Friday night, with no less than 3 Hawks supporters and 2 "know nothing about footy, but will go for the team that's winning" tagalongs. It was tough, but there were some good signs (hey, if we'd kicked straight, who knows?). Andrew Walker is finally looking like a #2 draft pick, Whitnall is finding his touch again and de Luca actually played pretty well. Can't stand Heath Scotland though, would he get the prize for the most meaningless 30+ disposal games ever?pasag said:Great game tonight, come to think of it, it has been a very exciting week of footy. I am a big Carlton supporter myself, try and get to every game and put on a brave face but its getting really, really hard. I dont know how much more cellar dwelling I can take, we are a proud club with a great history but whats the point in investing effort and tears into a side that realistically will not make the finals in the next 5 years.
This year is shaping up to be a good draft, and we're shaping up to be the wooden spooners, and whilst it is a slow process, we're rebuilding. Our defence is a joke (how Teague ever won B&F I don't know? And when your key defenders are Thornton and Livingston, you know you're in trouble), but otherwise we're getting there.
