Not sure about Warne's suggestion to promote Stokes up the order.
He's an idiot. Saw it done once against West Indies iirc where Stokes and Buttler opened the batting for quick declaration runs and hasn't shut up since.

I just can't stand Burns and his wretched technique. Makes my eyes hurt.

Being realistic I guess they could go back to Sibley though not sure if him staying at home has pissed on the chips as far as he is concerned.
How will that make your eyes hurt any less

i think that 2-2 was undeserved because it was way too generous to the aussies tbh, england were the better team by far in that series it's just the aussies had at different points one or two blokes england could simply not dislodge lol
Say what again???

the thing with teams is that they're eleven players
Wade made important runs in the 1st test and a meme 100 in the 5th, haze and Cummins both bowled well consistently, Siddle was good in the first test, Gaz bowled a critical spell in the 1st test. Starc played a critical role in the only test he got.

And like, England had useless players. Woakes, moenn, Roy and buttler where all pants.

Tbh RE the earlier discussion, beyond rain affected draws I don’t personally believe in ‘undeserved’ scorelines. They reflect what’s happened.

We had the better of one of the rain affected draws though. Hard to say what would have happened in that one if we’d had a full game but our whole approach changed when we lost a day
Too much time lost at Edgbaston to know and we went through motions on last day. Cardiff was luckiest escape ever though helped by Bilal Shafayat and his constant running on.

That's probably the last time we're seeing Malan in Tests.
