This is too simplistic. Saha looked like a tailender with the bat, which we cant afford at all. Pant made a decent contribution in the previous test which Im not sure Saha would have been able to do.
"If his batting was as good as Don Bradman's, he couldn't score enough runs to make up for what he costs them with his keeping."
Ian Chappell's pithy description of Kamran Akmal's glovework
Yep, that was massively missing from the first two tests. Even some borderline long-hops were getting patted back to the bowler, and he bowled plenty such deliveries, often two an over.Actually punishing anything slightly underpitched makes a real difference.
tbh he probably just assumed they were running a comfortable 3If he's fine, why didnt he make a better feast of throwing the ball back? He turned around, saw the mixup, but then just flipped it underhanded? **** me already.
Further proof Chappell is a dumbass because thats clearly not true."If his batting was as good as Don Bradman's, he couldn't score enough runs to make up for what he costs them with his keeping."

No, it isn't. Far underestimates the cost.Further proof Chappell is a dumbass because thats clearly not true.
Well it's an average of about the average batting average (about 32) per dropped catch according to Charles Davis. No all we need to know is how many Kamran dropped per match and the maths will be simple.Further proof Chappell is a dumbass because thats clearly not true.
Nothing as egregiously short as the last three overs. He's dropped short 6 times at least in recent memory.Yep, that was massively missing from the first two tests. Even some borderline long-hops were getting patted back to the bowler, and he bowled plenty such deliveries, often two an over.
