In general, the television production has been really slipshod this season. Multiple times the pull has been played this match, they've missed cutting to an angle showing where the ball actually went.

This is too simplistic. Saha looked like a tailender with the bat, which we cant afford at all. Pant made a decent contribution in the previous test which Im not sure Saha would have been able to do.

Yep, that was massively missing from the first two tests. Even some borderline long-hops were getting patted back to the bowler, and he bowled plenty such deliveries, often two an over.

would have been a completely different game right now had Pant hold onto that catch. You can visibly see how the standards have dropped across the board for India + the confidence gained for these two batters.

Well it's an average of about the average batting average (about 32) per dropped catch according to Charles Davis. No all we need to know is how many Kamran dropped per match and the maths will be simple.

So much more decisive in the footwork here. Puts the acid back on the bowler straight away. Can't be letting accurate finger spinners settle in for a day-long spell.
