Let's say India end up around with around 350 before getting bowled out and send Australia in trailing by 150, how much do aus have to set to make it a competitive target? And realistically where do the runs even come from? Smudge us horribly out of nick and is notoriously less then his best self in the second dig and I really don't see anyone other than marnus/maybe wade having the balls to dig the **** in and grind India out.

A target of more than 100 should be enough. Don't see India getting more than 36 in the 2nd dig

The pitch is probably not going to break up too much so if you bat long enough the runs will come. Whether they can do that is another question.

In terms of a target, should it get to that, you’d want to set 200 plus, which given the scoring rates in the game would mean batting late into day four. If they set 200 it will probably get run down

Travis Head just gave a ten minute radio interview recorded this morning before play and no mention was made of his embarrassing drop late in the day

Is Warnie's statement about an 8 year old Rahane getting clocked in the brain three times by a 24 year old in any way actually true?

Should have done that to Dhanawade.

Who runs these interviews. A lot of mediocrity is just let go

I think 200 would be somewhat less than 50% chance. Maybe with the 2003 Indian batting lineup. I know people talk about gambhiring but there’s a reason that prior to 2018, no Asian side had ever won a series in Australia. It’s the toughest place in cricket.

Warnie tries to think of a boy band and doesn't immediately say Bon Jovi.

There's hope for him yet.
