You must be referring to this;I DOn't know if it was at Eden Park, but remember when Lee hit Parore with a bouncer on one of the NZ ODI tours pretty early in his career? FMD it was one of the fastest bouncers I think I've seen collect someone.
Well you can support arguably the worst behaved and disrespectful team in the world who consistently let there little man opener abuse the opposition or you support NZ. Would be interesting to know who cricket fans outside of Aus and NZ would prefer to see win this oneI'm torn on who to support here.
Going a bit OTT here.Well you can support arguably the worst behaved and disrespectful team in the world who consistently let there little man opener abuse the opposition or you support NZ. Would be interesting to know who cricket fans outside of Aus and NZ would prefer to see win this one
Jeepers.Yeah it's a rubbish headline.
On this:
"I hope they come out and boo us and give us crap like they always do," he said.
Do NZ cricket crowds really boo the aussies? I can't remember an occasion. Obviously I'm quite aware of the booing of Quade Cooper but I don't remember it from a cricket crowd. I hope it doesn't happen.
Never seen that from an Aussie fan before. I used to and occassionally still do get pretty heated up at the Australian cricket team. When I was a youth I wanted them disbarred from world cricket. Michael holding and company have some damning things to say about Australia during the Fire in Babylon documentary. But it is what it is. I have had it out with the Australian fans before on this message board about whether sledging should be a part of the game and it turns into me against 20 australians who all think that sledging makes the game more interesting and gives you more satisfaction when you succeed.Well you can support arguably the worst behaved and disrespectful team in the world who consistently let there little man opener abuse the opposition or you support NZ. A very believable prediction because if you over pitch it will be six runs.So apparently Milne has been bowling at 80 percent the first few games of this World Cup, in part because of his injury during the Sri Lanka series. Been told he'll 'no doubt' bowl the quickest delivery at this Wolrd Cup this weekend. Big call but it would be a great watch. Lookout for the entire bowling attack to go after the Aussies with the short stuff too.
Bring on Saturday.
Thought something seemed odd with how he was bowling. So apparently Milne has been bowling at 80 percent the first few games of this World Cup, in part because of his injury during the Sri Lanka series. Really pleased to hear this. I was beginning to question his value proposition when operating at 139-144kms, which is effectively Boult speeds. So apparently Milne has been bowling at 80 percent the first few games of this World Cup, in part because of his injury during the Sri Lanka series. There is no logic to support the decision to have played him on any level. Still it is done now. Let's hope Howsie's news is correct about him letting it rip on saturday. So we left out McClenaghan and Mills for a guy bowling at 80%? Sounds a bit weird to me, hopefully Milne is 100% come Saturday.

Nah I can definitely see the logic. There is no logic to support the decision to have played him on any level. Still it is done now. Let's hope Howsie's news is correct about him letting it rip on saturday.
McClenaghan or possibly Mills if bowled up front would have given us a better chance of winning and winning the current match you are in without thinking ahead should be your only objective unless you have two games in two days or something.Nah I can definitely see the logic.
Get the **** bowling. Prove his fitness. Have scouters think he's nothing special.
Unleash.
Not sure if that's the smartest thing to do. Pitch it up and swing it. Australia finds swing harder to deal with than just pure intimidatory pace. The england ashes and south African series proved that.So apparently Milne has been bowling at 80 percent the first few games of this World Cup, in part because of his injury during the Sri Lanka series. Shh! Stop giving away Australia's secrets. Not sure if that's the smartest thing to do. Pitch it up and swing it. Australia finds swing harder to deal with than just pure intimidatory pace. The england ashes and south African series proved that.
The south African series moreso because we had one of our most incredible lollapse when Dale steyn got the ball reverse swingin'.
