Is that the worst ball to win a cricket match? Wide full toss at well above knee height that is probably wide if tye just leaves it.

Boy that’s some catch by Salzmann to win it
Interesting that that bracket of U19 players, which wasn't rated that highly at the time IIRC, is actually getting good representation at state level already, though none of them have really had breakout seasons yet.

thank you ashton agar for winning NSW the game with your horrible running between the wickets. you're lucky WA can't rip up your contract coz you don't even have one

congrats to New South Wales captain Jack Edwards for winning the game. Such a young talent already captaining his State bonds well for the future leaders of the Australian cricket team

Lastly, thank you Ryan Josh Philippe for finally leaving WA, about 5 years after you should have in the first place

Haha the two best bats I want to watch lots of this season was Maddinson (got out for a 2nd ball duck) and Davies (run out for 8 off a lucky deflection from bowler)

I did really enjoy watching Philippe and Richardson though. Good game!

Marcus Harris hasn't improved as a fielder I see

Owen opening for Tasmania a bit of an odd call. Didn't last for long there

Curator has definitely overdone it on the grass, ball has done plenty all innings. I didn't think the pitch yesterday played too badly honestly, same cannot be said for todays effort

Even with that being said though, I certainly didn't foresee Sam Elliott taking 7 for sfa when this game started

Not knocking the guy as 7/12 is a helluva effort & I didn’t watch it but a domestic medium pacer producing those sort of figures is a bit questionable

Big shock to see Josh Brown lackng the defensive technique to survuve on a seaming wicket.

He did bowl pretty well imo, definitely better than I remember him being the last couple of seasons, but not 7/12 well. Helped a bit by both the pitch and by some questionable shot selection
