queensland and tasmania deserve their place. i just hope that queensland don't paste them again. bevan has a fair bit of responsibilty, doesn't he?
Paste them!?

In their current form my team could beat them and we have only passed 100 3 times this season and only bowled teams out 5 times this season... :-O

my apologies. i didn't realise it was a crime to ask for a close game for a final.

i don't really care who wins, in fact i'd probably queensland because they've dominated all the year, but surely i can ask for a close game without being lambasted for it.

Of course, as long as Queensland wins.

That was my point. I doubt Qld will paste them, they have been shocking lately, which will make the game closer. If both teams were in good form & had all their players to choose from, Qld would win easy, however they don't so it should be a close game.

In selection news, Tassie has recalled Jamie Cox for the final.

I look at a scorecard of Victoria and New South Wales and i found out that Nathan Bracken cannot get in the team. what has happened to him i thought he was a good bowler

Yes, he's a good one day bowler, but look at the NSW bowling attack for that match: McGrath, Lee, MacGill.

Basically they had three seamers (Nicholson, Bracken, Clark) for the fourth bowler option.

I'm no fan of either Nicholson of Bracken, but surely they are both much better than the unimaginative bowling of Clark.

Highlight so far in the final has obviously been Maher's century. He promptly then gets out 3 (?) balls later.

No-ball, six, no-ball, one, four....

The seam holding together the pants of Queensland Cricket has just spectacularly burst.

Fantastic play by the Tigers, and a very deserving win. Well done! :D

Commiserations to Maher, who played the best innings of the match.
