I know the average attendance was around 9,000 last year, for England's second season of Twenty20 the attendances went up 12% (the weather was virtually flawless the first season and a bit dodgy the second season). Also some of the group stage Pro20 games were getting larger attendances than the Standard Bank Cup final (50 over competition).

A lot of the Twenty20 increase was to do with clubs using their main grounds in 2004.

Close game, the bowling figures for CCBM's innings are a bit dodgy - the runs total up to 238 when CCBM only scored 157.

Final was a bit of a disappointment. Most of the other matches were much more exciting. But Pro20 is very exciting for the spectators.I really enjoy it. South African games are drawing bigger and bigger crowds even in bad weather.

The first final in England was very disappointing if I remember correctly, 2nd one wasn't too bad but it was still reasonably comfortable for the chasing side. Chasing side seems to have won most of the finals so far.

Pretty disappointing end to the innings really. Last 5 wickets fell for something like 6 runs. Think the Int XI should knock off 158 without too many worries.

Spectators who largely couldn't care about the test match/4 day game because it is "boring".. Isn't that the kind of cricket we should be intent on promoting?

I don't recall anything being mentioned by the commentary team.

Blewett was v good value. Gave Murali & Harbhajan the long handle. Nice to see an Aussie on a winning team for once!

Scotty Styris looks a v useful 20/20 player too, mixes his pace up well & scored at a pretty decent lick too!
