A lot resting on Ibrahim, he scored over half their runs against England, if he goes cheaply I can't see Afghanistan getting a big enough total.

Afghanistan a bit one dimensional in their plans , you can't just bat no matter what , with dew and rain a possibility they gave up the advantage of winning the toss by Batting first ..

Afghanistan really struggle batting second. So they are playing to their strengths. Time will tell whether it was the right call.

Batting is starting to look easier now with the Afghan batsmen playing some good shots.

Geez that boundary rope is a long way in from the fence. Time to remember boundary ropes were only introduced to prevent players injuring themselves when sliding into the fence. No-one is sliding a quarter of that distance

Modern players should be docked 5 runs average for easier boundaries on player comparisons

You wouldn't be complaining about the ropes if Australia was batting.
