The name of Steve Waugh crops up and in CW XI, I get to hear Cloete's name in terms of mental toughness. And it is remarkable that both these players are modest.
I think you've got the wrong Cloete.

Thanks for the praise Pratyush, I'll take the criticism from my teammates in my stride. I won't let silly words interfere with my goals or my cricket. :D

We have the 5th bowler problem in one dayers and hopefully Camps can continue the effort and others can add up for us to over come this short coming I identified.
Since when have we had a 5th bowler problem?

Simple questions:
1. Do you intend to co-operate within reason with coach Agarwal in this camp and on tour?
2. Do you intend to show coach Agarwal a decent measure of respect during his tenure?

Note that I didn't ask whether you respect him or not. The fact is that he is the coach of the team and for that alone deserves to be shown more respect than you've been willing to give him thus far.
I find it hard to believe that someone who posts as much as you do on the forum would have missed the above post. Response needed immediately.

And show me where I have done anything except question the need for a coach, when the role has absolutely no significance?

Liam then questioned the need for captains, and he does have a fair point.

Can't you be co-operative and answer the questions?

Robbins released by CWBCC

The CWBCC has announced that Marc Robbins has been released from both the current training camp as well as the Test and One Day International squads to tour the West Indies. Co-chairman, Liam Camps sr. said, "We are very disappointed with the attitude shown by Marc Robbins, a veteran of Cricket Web cricket. He made this move necessary, as we can not tolerate such poor behaviour in the senior team, no less from a veteran player."

Though the decision comes on the back of severe and seemingly baseless criticism of coach Pratyush Agarwal, reports suggest that Agarwal was the only person defending the continued presence of Robbins at the camp and in the squad. He was quoted as saying, "Marc is an important member of the squad. I have said that seeing him bat one step higher up the order could be looked into. It has been sad development I think."

No replacement has been named as of yet.

Nobody will be too surprised by that, I shouldn't think. I imagine he'll work his way back into the squad some time in the future.

The bowling wasn't great by the players who filled in for the role of the 5th bowler in the one dayers recently. It is definitely an area we have to tighten up IMO.

Absolutely disgusted that I can be sacked for maintaining a position that I have always held when a "coach" was introduced in the past. How come last time I wasn't sacked?

And what about others who have also criticised such a role?

As per usual there's a scapegoat, and as usual I'm the one that fills the role when I was far from alone in being critical.

The allegations couldn't be proved when I asked people to show where I'd criticised the person directly, so just sack me instead.

You were by far the most vocal, and kept ignoring Liam's posts, both the questions and his points about the need for captains etc.

Pretty much. We just need to make sure we focus on the cricket now. Pretty bad performance from me, I put it down to nerves. :D

Let`s just achieve the desired result in this series and get a lot out of the camp.

Well done Liam. Definitely the right decision.
