Italy far more competitive against NZ, if they hadn’t given away so many scrum penalties would’ve been pretty close.

That’s true, but Warner doesn’t possess the skills to convey it.

First time I’ve seen Cummins in a while and he definitely looks a fair bit older to me.

    Experience doesn’t necessarily equal knowledge.

Unfortunately, the UK feed includes Warner!!

With hindsight, you could argue Aus bowled India out too quickly. If they’d bowled them out for 250 in 90 overs they may well have been in a stronger position. But this pitch will break up, signs of uneven bounce already. India win this easy.

First time I’ve heard him, who thought Warner was a good fit for commentary???

Personally thought it was ground first. I’d be more wondering why they’re so far back on a pitch that’s gone to sleep.

Will Bumrah get a 10 wicket match haul in his career

Yeah, I mean there's a few I could think of he's yet to achieve. A World Cup? A winning series in England?

It was a good ball, but the position he got himself into was horrific. He'd fallen so far over to the off side that it could've missed his pad and still taken out leg stump. It wasn't like he just missed a decent inswinger, he missed it by a mile.

Normally think of Starc bowling those unplayable wicket taking deliveries, but also going for a few too as he doesn't always control the swing. So basically, once again, someone who's actually had a bit of match practice leading into the series is in the best form. You'd think that teams around...

You could argue that Ponting had a much stronger technique to fall back on too for when the body starts to fade. Smith's reliance on his hand/eye coordination already seems in jeopardy.

I didn't see the Indian innings, but why was Cummins so much more expensive than the others? I'd normally expect Starc to go for more.

Amazing how MMarsh averaging 47 can make him seem like Sobers. Although it is 108 on home soil.

I wonder what Smith's final average might be? Started today at 56.97 and now at 56.64... I'm starting to think the over/under could be about 53.

I'd be more concerned if I was Australian. Khawaja - must retire soon McSweeney - Not an opener but jettisoned in because the alternatives are crap Marnus - In a complete hole Smith - Cooked Head - May have back trouble soon from carrying this lot Marsh - He averages less than Pope Carey -...

Whose test career will end last?

Corrected, although sure it applies for both tbh.

That's Warner of a few years ago on flat pitches, not the most recent one on a pitch with some movement. He wouldn't have last 10 balls before being caught behind.

Pretty certain that's why McCullum took England down the Bazball route - if you're only likely to survive for 30 odd balls, you may as well try to get 30 runs.
