    Faviourte Sport?

Cricket Drinking Women Can't think of any other sports worth watching or doing.

    World wicket keepers, your rankings.

Jones is definitely the best batsmen out of the lot of them, but he is also the worst keeper. It's a difficult choice, one which I wouldn't like to make. :)

    World wicket keepers, your rankings.

Am I missing something here? I though the thread was about keeping wicket, batting don't come into it. If you're talking about the best England keeper/batsman then you have to consider Tim Ambrose and the young lad at Essex (forgotten his name, could be Foster?). Granted, Matt Prior is the real...

    World wicket keepers, your rankings.

Batting is not as important as dropping Punter or Gilly!!!!

    World wicket keepers, your rankings.

Jones shouldn't be in the list, Chris Read is a far better keeper.

Biggest sporting event...the 2005 Ashes or the 2005 Lions tour??

absolutely right Marc....I can't remember any of us saying we'd win The Ashes. The Ashes will definitely be bigger than The Lions tour, although I will of course be following both.

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

Do you fancy having a bet with me on that, there is no way that Australia are going to win 5 - 0.

    England Second XI

hooray!!! Another Scott Newman fan, there are two of us after all. By the way everybody, Bell will not be in the 2nd XI, he will definitely feature in The Ashes.

Sean Devine and Dwight Yorke heading Down Under

Old hasbeen football players, you're welcome to them! :)

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

Yep, 3 - 1 would be my prediction too, Australia are notorious for losing a dead rubber game. I think you're right, nobody appears to be able to exert 5 days of pressure on the Aussies, but the current England team is the number 2 team in the world at the moment (IMO) and will definitely be the...

    **Official** India v Pakistan

Agree totally, the series has been played in good spirit throughout but this is probably what it will be remembered for. :@

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

Just trying to provoke discussion.... I do actually agree with most of what you say about your bowling attack, it's just that Dizzy and Pidgeon do not hold any surprises for our batters on English wickets and Bing is too wayward for my liking. Kasper and Warney are a different story though.

    **Official** India v Pakistan

Yep, it's all over now. Pakistan have done well to win in India, hats off to them. Dravid must now be made captain permanently, don't judge him on the last two results.

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

:D Exactly my point, for everybody out there...I am predicting England will not roll over and die this summer. Punter's captaincy will be one of their downfalls, the other (apart from Warne) will be their rather past it bowling attack.

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

Yeah, I've seen a lot of them on other websites predicting 5-0. Unfortunately for them the England bowling attack is looking pretty good for this summer if they all stay fit....even Harmy is coming back into some form now he is back on home soil.

    Ian Healy's Ashes predictions

I can't believe what I've just seen in a Sunday newspaper....Ian Healy is predicting that Australia will win The Ashes 5 - 0, he's either been misquoted or he's forgotten what the weather is like over here!

    **Official** India v Pakistan

Yep. Game over now although I do rate both Dhoni and Yuvraj. It's a big ask though.
  18. T

    **Official** India v Pakistan

I didn't call anybody stupid, re-read the post. Anyway, I'm here to talk cricket, India will struggle now unless Dravid and Dhoni stick around for a while.

    **Official** India v Pakistan

You are of course entitled to your opinion, and so am I. Tendulkar is a legend, he may well be out of form but to call him worthless and overrated is just pure stupidity IMHO.

NOBODY should tour Zim while Mugabe is in power.
