Rather have a proper strike bowler rather than Faulkner. Would also prefer Faulkner over Maxwell. Don't think they can be in the same team unless Maxwell somehow turns into a 45+ batsman and Faulkner a 25-28 average bowler.

I feel like that's how it's going to be for ODI cricket from now on though. Not like there are many bowlers who aren't getting carted. Unless you're australia.

I'd still keep (rimshot) him for his keeping. Go old-school and have a specialist keeper.

Which meant the other bowlers conceded 1 for 268.

This is actually reminding me of the opening world cup match of AUS vs ENG. Kept bowling short at the death and kept getting tonked. Glad to see england still haven't learned from that.

So if jordan fails to get to a 100 with his final ball should they do the gentlemanly thing and give him another over to reach his century?

Taylor has been immense so far.

England really need to go "Oi any blokes here want to get into the ODi side?" "Yes...?" "Then stay in these nets and bowl some yorkers."

So I'm going to assume that jordan is here to be the specialist slips-fielder?

Is taylor weak to spin in general?

Wouldn't be too bad in LO stuff, like that scottish spinner. Dunno about tests though where batsmen can just wait on it. He just kinda reminds me of a really slow anil kumble.

First time looking at rashid and I have no idea how he gets any momentum from his run up.

If australia play anymore of those kind of shots the workload on the windies bowlers shouldn't be too bad then. That would be holder right? They need genuine bowlers.
