***Official*** Australia in the West Indies 2015

    Isn't he injured?

The three pacers for Australia for 1st test?

To be fair our batting was pretty **** only a few years ago.

Road to the 2015 Ashes in England

Siddle has fallen off for quite a while now, cummins is still coming back from injury and is easing back with LO stuff, and Pattinson is constantly injured. I honestly hope that the selectors won't jerk around lyon anymore. His place seems relatively solid.

It's not like mccullum got out trying to smash the cover off the ball, he just got a good ball first up.

    Wait, really?

    Cricinfo

What really ****s me is that they made the player's profiles so much less useful of mobile. I need to check statsguru while I'm on the ****ter.

Ah alright, I see your point.

Do people not think Anderson merits a place in the side solely for his batting?

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

I believe that the ECB official nickname list has them as Belly, Broady and Stokey.

Not that I think that he is as good as lyon at the moment but you blokes have to remember how lyon was treated. Sure he's going to have his off days but just stick with him and give him time to develop, instead of chopping and changing constantly and doing stuff like bringing in glenn maxwell as...

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

I would count being more flexible as being better honestly. I dunno, from my point of view aus batting < NZ batting while aus bowling > NZ bowling, but it's not by huge margins either way.

Kinda serious. Look at how we performed in the uae compared to nz. We still have massive deficiencies in our batting.

I'm not entirely sure if Australia is better than New Zealand either.

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

Nah, he was pretty bad in zimbabwe (other than smashing the zimbabweans) and the home series against south africa. Which culminated in that leave in the BBL which got people calling for his head before the world cup. As I've amended though, it is different because he's more established in the...

I mean there can be some argument for sticking with potential versus results. Glenn Maxwell's form leading up to the world cup was in pretty dire straits as well but cricket australia kept persisting with him. Though he did build his form up in the tri-series before the WC. Kinda different in...

*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

Not really honestly, his ODI form leading to the world cup was pretty bad, so it made sense at the time.

No idea what boult was thinking there. Just duck them. Great catch to seal it though.

I'd actually bring ali to bowl alongside stokes. He's basically kryptonite to left-handers for whatever reason.

Any chance of losing overs to the weather today?

South Africa to play four Tests in India later this year

Sounds like it'll be a great series. India is always a force at home but South Africa has been good in the SC lately.
