Shannon Stewart is not that good. Certainly not as good as some of the other batsmen that you guys have failed to suggest. Two that didn't get a mention in that posters team were Greg Todd and Aaron Redmond, both of which have made this team.

"Fulton has back-foot issues" - Bracewell

You only have Cumming as a bracketed selection, while you have Marshall as the assured opener. Cumming has shown enough to stay for a bloody long time, and keep getting consistent runs.

When he played down here, he was bowling quick enough for Redmond to ramp him for 6.

With this major associations team, I think that Greg Todd and Aaron Redmond deserve a go. They have both been very consistent this season.

Probarbly. But he also would of played alot of his youth cricket for Wellington, As he only came down here as an 18 or 19 year old.

One change to the Otago team. Offspinner Will Somerville comes into the team for the useless Marcel McKenzie. Hopkins and Eathorne to go up one position in the order. Somerville to fit in around 9 or 10.

He won't tough, Otago only uses him as a last resort as he bowls far to many pies. He will be lucky to bowl 40 or 50 overs a season. His only chance to make the Black Caps would be as a top order batsmen.

He doesn't get a bowl because hes **** and gets spanked everytime he does bowl. He also looks like abit of an unce when he bowls. Good batsman though.

I was talking to a guy who has a great knowledge of the domestic game. I asked about Ewen Thompson as a potential bowling all rounder, he told me that Thompson would make Bradley Scott look express.

No, He isn't an opener. James Marshall is a decent middle order player, but will never open the batting for New Zealand.

When you look at the Otago top 7, it really lacks alot of experience and good batsmen. Gaffney, Redmond, Todd and Hopkins. Are good batsmen. Sean Eathorne is very inexcperienced, but is a talented batsman on the rise and will get better with experience. Marcel mcKenzie and Jordan Sheed are two...
