    most exciting batsmen

In ODI's Shahid Afridi Innings: 182 Strike Rate: 103.23  Sixes: 175  Fastest Century in ODI's: 102 off 37 balls - 11 sixes & 6 fours. Its either a hit or miss with Afridi yes but that just adds to the excitment, you dont know what your going to get.

    Fantastic! :D

    Guess the bowler

nothin wrong with a full toss every now and then, plus the bowlers more likely to get hit for a boundary so its always good to see those stumps flying from one.

    Guess the bowler

Correct, talking of Waqar what happened to the little finger on his left hand? fielding injury?

    Cricket's nicest guys

Wavell Hinds of the West Indies, did you hear him when Ian Bishop finished interviewing him after one of the ICC CT ODI games? "thankyou Mr Bishop" he said :D That sort of politeness is unheard of by Englishmen these days  Andrew Strauss seems like a nice fello.

Agnew: Champions Trophy should become Twenty20 tournament

Children, grow up! Back to the subject I think that Twenty20 definately has its place on the interenational scene, but I wouldn't want it to take over completely from the one day game.

Here's an idea for Englands ODI squad!!

How about England open batting with Harmisson, give him an Afridi like role, let him swing that tree trunk of a bat he uses at every ball instead of wasteing him at the bottom of the order!! Im going to get flamed now :D

    Twenty20 in NZ

It will be the first "organized" Twenty20 International, it wont go in the record book as being an ODI. Im sure the ECB arent too happy about this seeing as they billed Eng/Aus as the 1st :D

    Twenty20 VS One-Day

Football is on the tv every day in England and its the most popular sport, so obviously people dont get bored of that song because it is taken seriously as a sport, same could happen with Twenty20 if it is marketed correctly and not treated as a mess about, you never know. Was Cricket Max taken...

    ODIS vs Test Matches

Well I watch both forms of the game but got into Cricket through the ODI's so I am biased in favour of them. I like to see aggression in sport, for example I prefer to see a Boxing bout between two brawlers who go toe to toe than a bout between 2 counter punchers who dance around the ring...

Video Clips from Afridi's Record 100 in ODI

Video clips from Shahid Afridi's record 100 off of 37 balls against Sri Lanka in 1996, information on the record here - http://www.angelfire.com/al/badela/Afridi.html Whatever you say about him you have to admire this record, 100 off of 37 balls is just madness, it was his first time batting...

Great news, I think if any form of the game would kick off in the U.S it would be Twenty20. But it's hard for any new sport to get a fan base anywhere really (apart from Japan maybe) can you imagine for example Baseball trying to break out in the UK? It wouldn't be easy.
