Cameron White's role in the Australian ODI team

Don't like Clark in the One Day team, Tait is better for mine. He is a really attacking options. 1. Watson 2. Marsh 3. Ponting 4. Clark 5. Symonds/D. Hussey 6. M. Hussey 7. Haddin 8. Johnson 9. Lee 10. Bracken 11. Tait That would be my team, when all fit. Hauritz > Tait on huge spinning tracks.

    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2008/09

Yeah I agree, was Matthews opening the bowling though? I presume Jaques opened the batting, first over faced Clark, then Matthews came on from the other end and got Jaques? Is that correct?

    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2008/09

Australian trio Phil Jaques, Andrew Symonds and Stuart Clark are all set to make their domestic returns this week for their respective states. Jaques (back), Symonds (knee) and Clark (elbow) all made their grade comebacks for clubs in Sydney and Brisbane. More...

    All hail Dale Steyn

It don't know if it was a dig, maybe he made a thread and it got merged by an Admin or Mod? I could be wrong though.

    Which slower ball?

I used to go with the split finger grip one, but now I usethe Brett Lee one. It's virtually impossible to pick up, because all you are doing is bending your thumb in at the bottom off the ball. It takes a fair bit of pace off the ball and swings too.

    Symonds sent home

Hmm...So the day before a grade match where he was proving he is fit he gets pissed off his face, and gets on the radio and says more things that can damage his career futher (if that's possible). Then he goes out and makes a 7 in his grade match. I hope this hack never plays for Australia again.

Too old to start playing competitive cricket?

Definitely not. In my team we have guys nearing 60, you don't have to play high levels to have fun.

Need few tips with my bowling!

I was the same, before the school holidays, I felt my action changing and then bang, I tried a inswinger and it went a mile. Everything just clicked, and I started bowling them in the nets every day, practicing putting them on a fullish length so it threatens the batsmens gap between bat and...

    Replacement Runners

I agree, boundaries or the easy ones that you walk or jog so gently. If you can't run, you should retire hurt or tough it out.

    Post your favourite ODI kits

I find it lulworthy that she has Kookaburra pads on when Michael Clarke uses Slazenger and all, got flamed for saying this on another forum.

    Cricket team draft

SCG. Was thinking of a sub-continent ground for the spinners, but SCG is good and with a few Australian's they will like that.
