Great news, I have a bit of a soft spot for Bangladesh, love seeing them doing well.

I take it Symonds is not on that list because of a lack of one dayers in the past year? He'd be the first batting all rounder I'd pick in world one day cricket.

Yes, but the ICC ratings take into account the strength of the opposition.

Q: Is it harder to score points against some of the weaker teams than it might be to score points against the likes of Australia and South Africa?

A: Because the ratings take account of the opposition strength, there shouldn't be any obvious advantage to playing against any particular team.

Surprised tbh, i know he's made a few waves recently but his figures aren't at all that special given the rankings purport to take into account the standard of the opposition.
