    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Haddin gone early. This is the most important partnership today. If these two can't make at least 100 together then England have won.

    Hypothetical selection decision - consistency

It depends what the team needs. It's either A or B.

Which team will chase down 500 in Tests?

Will take double centuries from Haddin and Clarke to do it tomorrow, IMO.

    Chaminda Vaas...

A great player, congrats on a good career.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

This is fantastic from Clarke and Haddin. Need them to both post their highest scores then hopefully go on to double centuries, then the tail to wag. I still think we might need rain to help us along the way.

Good stuff Clarke, well played Haddin as well. Nice rear guard action, stopping the flow of wickets, frustrating England, making runs. Top job!

    **Official** Tour Matches

A bowl off here from Johnson, Lee and Clark hopefully. Team should be something like this. 1. Hughes 2. Katich 3. Clarke 4. Hussey 5. Watson 6. North 7. Haddin 8. Johnson 9. Lee 10. Siddle 11. Clark Not fussed as long as Hughes, Katich, Hussey, Watson, North, Haddin, Johnson, Lee and Clark play.

    *Official Third Test at Edgbaston

I'm sitting on the fence at the moment, but Hilfenhaus, Hauritz and Siddle are certainty's for the third Test. A bowl off between Johnson, Lee and Clark is in order in the tour match.

Good knock from Pup. On the attack, striking at 86 is pretty good. Fantastic shots. Reversing massively for Flintoff. Surely he won't last much longer, as long as Broad doesn't pitch it up and Jimmy doesn't get swing, we should be alright for a bit.

If the umpires got that decision correct who know's how he would have went? He could have cracked a double century and won us the game. As unlikely as it is, it's possible.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

He has every right to. 3 out of 5 wickets so far have been not out. This is terrible.

    This is correct.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Interesting point I raised on MSN talking to .matt. Jake says (9:03 PM): *I wonder how much the ECB are giving the umpires for this? Deadset, Hughes and Ponting both not out but given out in the first innings, but given out, then Hauritz catches (but may have dropped) Bopara and it's not out...

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

Jeez, none so far. Hughes was dropped but given out, and Katich was dismissed off a no ball.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

No 10 wicket victory anymore. :( Damn, Katich was the key. If there is a time for Ponting to play a captains knock, it's now.

    *Official* Second Test at Lords

We need rain. We need a good start. We need batsmen getting centuries. We need luck. We need more rain. We need Broad to bowl lots of overs. We need more rain. Hoping Hughes and Katich ton up, then Ponting and Hussey ton up. I seriously think we can do it.

    ***Official***Australian Domestic Season Thread 2009/2010

No way! Rohrer is a gun from what I've read, heard from his coaches that he is the cleanest striker off the ball he's ever seen and is a great batsmen.

    Current pecking order?

Because we won't go down that low very often. At the moment, we have an attack of Hilfenhaus, Johnson, Siddle and Hauritz. Johnson Siddle Hilfenhaus Clark Lee Bollinger The bolded players are the ones we are using. If we were using 4 quicks, then we would need another player after Bollinger...
