    What shots can I play.

Put the foot out to it and leg glance it, if it's short pull it, it's if full from a spinner sweep, and there is your trusty hack which will end up at fine leg more often then cow corner if it's far down leg.

Warne is a good commentator, love listening to him. Great captains knock by Strauss, kept out the good balls and gave the bad ones (which were plentiful at times) a good whack to the boundary. Lets get the lower order out quickly, want to be batting early tomorrow to have a shot with the rain...

So we sit through a long spell of North for Pup to come on and get a wicket. Collingwood threw his wicket away. Irresponsible batting.

Keen for my OD match tomorrow, takes longer, I can actually compete, and my players have some decent form in that format.

Johnson still bowling the rubbish he was bowling before getting a wicket after getting a wicket. At least Johnson doesn't always have to be bowling well and in good form to pick up wickets, and being able to get them out of the ordinary when he is bowling terrible is handy.

Johnson has got him! Thank god! Hopefully this is the start of a collapse. Can't afford to let them get the physiological edge by posting a massive score like we did in the first game, we need the restrict them to under 450 odd.

England are completely dominating proceedings here. I can see Bopara cashing in on a good start, and a draw coming. Will make the last 3 games interesting if it happens.

In a case like this with the bowler clearly injured you should be able to use the sub as a bowler. England should make 450+ now that Johnson is bowling rubbish, Siddle hasn't been doing anything special, the England batsmen are on a roll and now we are a bowler down. Macca and/or Watson should...

    *Archived* Whatever you like....

I just got International Cricket Captain 2009 and from the trial I've done and just starting to play it again now, I reckon that 2008 was a touch better on the actual game. Obviously the new features and additions make 2009 a bit better as a whole, but if they had the same features I'd probably...

Unchanged for Australia, England bring in Onions for Panesar. England win the toss and bat. Hopefully Australia can roll them today and get in a fair amount of batting this afternoon and get some runs on the board, hopefully losing no wickets and making an indent on the chase.

Not long to go now. Hoping Stuart Clark is in ahead of Hauritz, but I doubt the selectors will actually do that. It's not a case of not changing a winning team, it's more a case of dont change a team that completely dominated the opposition, even though you can potentially improve it greatly...

    How to improve test cricket

I'd love to see timeless tests back. Whoever scores the most runs, wins. Simple.
