    Battrick Commentary

2.1 6 Conner to Mulvaney Mulvaney has his mother in the crowd today. Show off! What the ****?

My third BT20 in consecutive days just started. Newton is hopeless. He is my best OD player, can't last more than 2 balls in BT20's. 0.2 W Conner to Newton Through the gate went the ball, and to the pavilion went Newton. A great wicket taking delivery! Again, great start there...

    Bowling Faster...

Thanks for that, having a look at them now. Why 15 days?

    Run Up

Yeah, but you are in Under 13's. You don't just do that when you get older. You should always mark your run up, because no balls will become more important in the future for you than they are now. You can't just run away from the stumps then turn around and bowl.

    How to improve test cricket

I am fairly sure it's two bouncers per over in Test matches and one in limited overs games.

Geez I got owned. And that's the end of the match. WendyarmCC won by 70 runs. WendyarmCC 184-2 Killers CC 114-10 End of Over 19: 114-10, runrate=6.00 Silverwood 3-0-10-6 Seddon* 6 (4 balls) I'm terrible in BT20's.

    Battrick

5.4 W Gundamaraju to Mukhopadhyay Gone. Clean bowled. Simple as that. 5.3 W Gundamaraju to Raisani Oh my! What a ball from Gundamaraju. A terrific yorker. Raisani couldn't get his bat down in time, and the death rattle signifies that he's on his way. 2 wickets in 2 balls, including...

    Watson to replace mike hussey

I agree with this. I had the same teams but I was trying to work out who the seventh team was.

Michael Hussey – Is his time up?

I love your work SJS. Keep them coming. Interesting to see how threads went from how good he is and how good his form is to the complete opposite.

    Learning Off-spin

Get a run up, practice, practice, practice, and when you have finished practicing, practice some more. Hooper has raised some good points. First develop your stock ball, the off break, then when you have got that working, learn and practice your variations. I can't help you with tactics seeing...

Freddie to retire after the Ashes

Interesting. He was never a great player but he is good, has heart and his performances from 2004 and 2005 are excellent. I'm sick of players retiring from Test to play the shorter forms, would rather players retire from the shorter forms to play the Test matches. In some cases, possibly this...
