    It’s sorted by average and he plays in the format that averages highest over time for top order batsmen so not sure how it is relevant. If it were sorted by runs scored that would be a different matter.

    Problem is his back isn’t it? I’m guessing they’re doing this to lessen the workload on Stokes but would still prefer a front line spinner over a left arm medium pace bowler who rarely bowls with control and needs assistance to have any real impact.

    I totally agree on that. Genuine front line bowler but his batting is piss weak at 7 or 8 (which is odd considering how he used to bat) so no spot for him.

    But he wasn't a 5th bowler if he wasn't even being used for 20% or so of the time. He also doesn't fit in the lineup with the bat because he needs to bat higher in the order then he could justify being picked.
