Agreed. Also how does Babar have 3 centuries with a high score of 104.. idk if he grabs a spot in the middle order. Rashid Khan should be the spinner. How does Jason Holder not make this side? He averages better with the bat than Stokes this year playing against India and England and has 20 wickets at 18 or so.
I'll have one of these.Lyon and Jadeja both averaged 34.5 this year. Ashwin isn't an ideal choice because he was not picked for tests in West Indies at all but averaged 24 despite a bunch of dropped catches as vcs said. I'll take him for Lyon. Will go with the rest of OP XI.
I've got no real dramas with four quicks. Five is evil though.
Nah go Rashid, none of the other spinners had great years and Afghanistan deserves a place! Here's Rashid Khan's test match list: Bowling records | Test matches | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPNcricinfo.com
Played just 3 games and struggled against West Indies. Not enough to be considered IMO. Reason Bumrah is not in conversation is also because he only played 3 games in the year.
So you’d bat him at 5 then?Good shout that. Definitely doing more with ball than Stokes, while averaging about the same with bat.
I don't know what I was expecting when I read them just now. Same boring shitewait we have new rules?
Stokes isn’t good enough for a world XI number 5. He’s worth X to a team and Holder is worth Y. Watling to 6 and Holder at 7So you’d bat him at 5 then?
because he's not ben stokes and doesn't play for england. How does Jason Holder not make this side? He averages better with the bat than Stokes this year playing against India and England and has 20 wickets at 18 or so.
Lol I think you’re on the moneybecause he's not ben stokes and doesn't play for england.
He's quality and his bowling has been great this year, but his batting this year has been literally one (admittedly very) big score. Just ignoring a batsman's highest score is obviously wrong, but anyone would need more than score that to justify a spot in the top 6 of the year imo. In fairness you could probably argue him in as a bowler in his own right this year if you wanted and his batting would be a big bonus lower downHow does Jason Holder not make this side? Yeah it's not so much that we have new rules as it is we tidied up and clarified the same ones we had for anyone who decided to look them up.I don't know what I was expecting when I read them just now. Same boring shite
That would be true. I’m saying bat Watling at 6 though. Holder at 7He's quality and his bowling has been great this year, but his batting this year has been literally one (admittedly very) big score.
