I think I may have heard the other day that only once in the AFL a team outside the top 4 has made the grand final with their current system, obviously its flawed if thats the case. I think that home ground advantage is fair in the first two weeks of the finals but reckon the prelims should be...

Tbf the Eels have been pretty awful since the Titans came into the comp.

More worried about the people searching for "Federer Girlfriend" tbh.

Yeh would have to be, considering only Marat Safin and Novak Djokovic have managed to win a grand slam when both Rafa and Roger were in the draw. Neither of those two played both on their way to the title.

He's always had the potential, I remember the year Gonzalez made the final of the Aus open Del Potro would have beaten him in the first round if he didn't cramp up.

Chela, Coria, Canas, Gaudio, Nalbandian... the list goes on. Can't say I'm all that fond of any of them.

Well done to Del Potro, of all the Argies that have come and gone in the past 10 years he is the most likeable.

Feds currently paying $8.50 to win, very long considering it's really only one break.

Looks like Del Potro will become the lowest ranked player to win a slam since Gaston Gaudio won the French in 2004. He was ranked 44 at the time I think.

Goran had played 12 ATP tournaments that year before Wimlbedon, problem was he was just out of form prior to that.

Normally the mens and womens finals are tipped together thus giving more people a chance to win it.

Regardless of what happened in week 1 of the finals everything points towards Eels beating the Titans. Form, momentum, player match ups (for the most part), home ground advantage, Titans away record etc... I think anyone who knows anything about the game can see the Dragons vs Broncos game...

Obviously either Hakon or Jono will win. Am tipping Federer anyway.

Yeh no doubt at all she played brilliant tennis, was the best player in the tournament. But should a player be able to come back and win a grand slam like this? Would never happen in the mens game and would never have happened in the womens game 10 years ago.

Good for Kim really, but can't help but think this just highlights how bad the top of womens tennis is. Maybe if the likes of Dementieva, Kuznetsova, Venus etc... didn't choke then it might have been tougher, but I guess she did beat some handy players including Serena. Hope this is inspiration...

Wozniacki seems to be well in this. Been a while since any female player has gone into her first slam final and not capitulated due to nerves.

The Dragons are all ball hogs, Boyd always goes himself, so does Creagh, Cooper is improving but they just dont seem to make much second phase play inside the opposition 20. Neville Costigan is probably the worst of the lot though.

Hope the game isn't a let down, the Dragons have played some shoddy football in the past month and our previous game against them was hardly exciting. I hope the occasion is enough to lift it.
