    Yeh the financial aspect is a real worry and that concern is made even greater by bringing in teams in cities where there's already teams. They are competing for the same sponsors and fans I can't see how in the long run second teams in Sydney and Melbourne are more beneficial than Wollongong...

    Haha yeh, but the standard of the W League is pathetic, it's like watching Mens state league 4. Although Canberra did sign Sally Shipard yesterday which will boost our chances for this season.

    Pissed off about that myself, I like how they put "Canberra is an obvious priority for the 13th licence". Thats all well and good but when? I think the reason they have said that is because the bid said they would have one crack and if it failed then we wouldn't have another go for a long time...

    BS, there was no way that was a chicken wing tackle so to speak, normally the defenders arm comes under the bicep to bend it back, that was just a case of getting it in the wrong position as he went over the top.

    They have fairly easily handled teams 1,2 and 3 who have been the best teams this season. Their defence has been incredible, if they can shut down Inglis and Slater (which is easier said than done) then I think they'll win.
