Yeah, Munaf has clearly been a lot better as an ODI bowler since the DLF Cup - his record since then is excellent.

How on earth would you think I didn't get the sarcasm? Of course I get it, that's why I posted what I did because I think it's immature and just another in a long line of stupid posts clearly meant to stir people up. It's a cheap shot.

Well, yes you are. He didn't say it led to him losing his wicket, you're saying that. I think KP is professional enough and experienced enough to be able to deal with a beamer. At the very least, even if he was shaken up enough to lose his wicket, edging the ball behind and being given not out...

No imo. I don't have a problem with Sreesanth being left out as a result of disciplinary action by the team management for his behaviour generally, but I don't think it should be an automatic ban just for that. Not really giving KP much credit there. Somehow I think he's a good enough batsman...

So I Walked Into A Bar...

    No qualms at all.

I don't think anyone has been saying that the no-balls weren't deliberate. The talk has been around the beamer.

So I Walked Into A Bar...

    1. England obviously wouldn't be as good without their best batsman, although without KP in the team it might've given Rob Key a chance. 2. I don't care who plays for which team - it wouldn't bother me if someone had played 50+ Tests for one team and then moved to another country and...

I'm still not convinced that Sreesanth's beamer was deliberate, and I think the same of most of the beamers I've seen. Going from my experience (admittedly of a low standard and much slower pace), there have been times when I've tried to go for that extra bit of pace and the ball has just...

Personally I don't think the beamer was deliberate. I'm undecided on a ban for bowling one...it can happen by accident, so I'm not sure it's fair to ban someone for that.

8-) Such a ****-stirrer. Anyway, I don't think Cricinfo is biased but sometimes their live commentators are - although they're mostly idiots rather than biased.

Best peice of batting from a individual in the last year.

Sangakkara's hundreds in New Zealand were up there imo. Lara's double hundred in this match, and Yousuf's twin hundreds in the following Test were very good as well.

All Time Country ODI Teams ?

Yeah, Javed's average (41.7) and SR (67.01) were both inferior. I suppose he had more memorable knocks though, and the longevity of his ODI career counts for a bit.

All Time Country ODI Teams ?

Nope, Zaheer Abbas averaged 47.62 in ODIs although he only played 62 matches. Excellent strike rate too of 84.80.

Brad Hogg as a test match option

I reckon Watson cops a lot of flack partly because people think of him as a genuine all-rounder and his bowling, while decent, isn't anything special and people allow that to affect how they rate him overall. If he was thought of as a batsman who bowls a bit, he'd be rated higher amongst the...
