    South Africa Domestic off-season 2012/13

Hoping to see more from David White and Yaseen Vallie this season.

    South Africa Domestic off-season 2012/13

They won't win anything this year probably will get the spoon, but it's good that they're focussing on youth. Who know what the amateur league will bring through the season.

    What worth are rankings anymore?

Yep. Enjoy the parity while it lasts.

    Worst choke ever

Besides the Aus/SA semi, the game 5 series decider between SA and Pak. SA made 233 and Pakistan were cruising at 198/4 after 40 overs before losing their **** and ending up 219 all out. http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakvrsa/engine/match/299010.html

    South Africa Domestic Season 2011/12

Wasn't impressed with this season. No talent came through and really impressed me other than the usuals (Peterson, McKenzie...).

How fast were Merv Hughes and Craig Mcdermott in 1991/92 series vs India

This. In those days, they used stop watches which were more reliable than today's speed guns.

*Official* Sri Lanka in South Africa 2011/12

Botha, Theron, De Lange, Frylinck? Feel sorry for Rusty who hasn't done much wrong with this international career. Also, they played 5 POC in the last game so fulfilling the quota shouldn't be a problem.

Saw SA's total and their bowling lineup and I thought they would chase it down. Seriously Parnell and Philander shouldn't be anywhere close to the ODI team.

I don't think there's laws against the powers of levitation.

    What is the teesra?

Looks like a legal delivery to me.

Kallis vs Sobers, Donald vs Steyn, Trott vs Pollock

Given that we always romanticize the past, 20 years from now, he'll go down as the best. Right now, some people will just nitpick his record.

    South Africa Domestic Season 2011/12

When Kemp came back from the ICL, SA should have played him. You can't ignore his 50 average in T20 and his bowling is underrated IMO.

Dear Lord. He's utter ****e at ODIs. Frylinck?

    They're both like 6"5.

    Welcome back Morne.

*Official* Sri Lanka in South Africa 2011/12

****, with all this crazy talk, bring back Johan Louw. Morne has been one of the most consistent bowlers for the past 12 months. 2 bad games and he should be dropped? ****ing madness.

    Is Pattinson the new Cummins?

    Who is the new Cummins.
  18. popepouri

    Is Philander the new McGrath?

He's probably the new Zaheer Kahn. Similar type of bowler.

History tells that he typically does well when the top order ****s itself.

    South Africa Domestic Season 2011/12

Warriors and SA need to have faith that he will come good. Maybe not at 19 but possibly 24-25. I think we all know he has the potential.
