    Obus Pienaar!

Unless he has major issues form or otherwise, I have no doubt he will become an SA international. He was great at u19 level and he did well in his first season in domestic cricket. He'll get the call for sure.

    Really?

    Imran Tahir

Bye bye Paul Harris. Seriously Tahir can't do worse than him.

    South Africa Domestic season 2010-11

Yeah Pienaar bowls lollipops. He's good at holding up an end and takes wickets on those dire wickets for the amateur league. May he could be Klusener type bowler post injury.

*Official* Quarter Final 3 - New Zealand v South Africa

SA spinners obliterating a lineup? When last have you heard that said?

    South Africa Domestic season 2010-11

There's a lot of bend in that arm. I hope he doesn't get into trouble.

This. They've got to be favourites if they play this lineup.

*Official* Match 16 - Netherlands v South Africa

29.1 van Bunge to Gibbs, SIX, Violence! Gibbs charged down the track and hoicked it over long on. 29.2 van Bunge to Gibbs, SIX, Murder! Floated on the leg and middle stump line and Gibbs sends it soaring over long-off. 29.3 van Bunge to Gibbs, SIX, Carnage! Flatter one this time but it makes no...

*Official* Match 7 - South Africa v West Indies

I agree with this...if fact take it one step further and drop Botha, bring back Lopsy and play 7 batsmen like India.

    Wastemen etc

He'll be better in tests which I'm more excited about. Tahir, Steyn and Morkel. That's a good looking attack on paper.

    Pretty much.

    South Africa Domestic season 2010-11

Yep. I rate him more than Albie and he should have had a run in the team as a possible bowling allrounder before the world cup given he ticks off a lot of boxes that are missing in the side. i.e. no. 7, fast-med bowler and good at bowling at the death.

Should Graeme Smith still be opening the batting?

He can't bowl well to left handers.

    South Africa Discussion

At least if we get knocked out legitimately, it is because our team is kak.

    South Africa Discussion

Yes and no. Somehow it keeps getting brought up by officials and seriously, is Robbie P the most valid solution as a spinning allrounder especially when RVDM had done a decent job supporting Botha?

    South Africa Discussion

Decent team but I'd swap out Ingram from MVW. Might as well bite the bullet and play 7 batsmen with a long tail. Australia did it for ages, India has the same set up. The reality is we can't field a decent bowling allrounder. Anyways, it won't happen because of the quota. Getting the 4th quota...
