    *Official* SriLanka in India 2022

Was brilliant - everything you could want - sixes over mid wicket, charge cover drive against pacer, flick overhead sweep, strong cut, playing a shot through his own legs.

How would you rank the greatest test teams of all-time?

I think both bowling and batting would fall seriously short.

How would you rank the greatest test teams of all-time?

Struass' England and Waugh's Australia would destroy us (Kohli's India) if we tried to play them away.

Two things: - Rain is forecast - If Siraj is able to bowl full-tilt then 210 should be enough, if not then probably would like 240 lead.

Please get rid of Pujara and Rahane! Please!!

Is it time to drop Pujara and Rahane yet?

Will this be England's worst ever 5-0 defeat in Australia?

And anyone genetically connected to Australian posters, such as English posters.

Will this be England's worst ever 5-0 defeat in Australia?

It was pretty crazy turnaround between 2005 and 2006/7. Simon Jones was a deceptively big loss to the attack. I tend to find that losing one star bowler of the main 4/5 can be a deceptively huge loss. I also remember that it really surprised me how Shoaib Akhtar blew away England not long after...

    Official Jasprit Bumrah fanboying thread

And I think (and may be mistaken) that the English sports scientists once found that spell length was the biggest injury risk factor rather than total overs.

Kevin Pietersen - story of a genius

Now I'm going on a deep-dive of James Taylor and what a sad end to such a promising career. Watching an interview and he described the initial attack as "my ticker is ****ed" - which is something that I have felt before and is very worrying.

Kevin Pietersen - story of a genius

Agree here. The documentary made me like KP a lot but this was a big and significant display of poor behaviour.

    Official Jasprit Bumrah fanboying thread

If I may jump in this thread, I think he's a truly special bowler. I honestly think the best is yet to come for him also.

No way - his FC record is nowhere near strong enough to justify selection.

If it is the home season, then there is domestic commitments.

Kevin Pietersen - story of a genius

FYI - this is now on YouTube: KP comes across well in this - but obviously this is by design. I think the classic mistake that now appears obvious that I think the most outwardly confident people often need the most support and emotional backing. Definitely an amazing batsmen who could...

Agree - they got a good batting line-up and a good bowling line-up.

Really unacceptable from Siraj - management should make that clear to him. Celebrate all he wants, stare as much as you want but throwing the ball like that is not on.

Fairly chanceless too, unlike Elgar - could be one to watch this series.

    4th Test at Sydney (?) - Jan 5-9 2022

You'd think they'll look to shake things up after this series. I struggle to watch or listen to Sky Sports without thinking that England could benefit from a cricket mind like Nasser or Atherton but there's probably no reason for them to leave their current positions for something like that.
