I went to Wembley Stadium for the show - it was amazing!

And Wood seemed a bit down on pace - closer to 140-144kph than 150kph+. Let's see but I think Australia have a chance tomorrow.

Hard to say that for sure. Australia were doing just fine until they absolutely imploded today with their sweep/reverse sweep strategy. I think if they had a quality pacer instead of the SLA bowler and a less suicidal strategy today with the bat it could have been close. Also worth mentioning...

Don't know if he will but I sure hope so. It is like watching some sort of Greek God batting when he's on form.

I'm sure others have pointed that this is not right but I had a very challenging piece when I was umpiring a bowler who delivered off the wrong foot like Sohail Tanvir but he was at least 1m over the front line with his front foot.

Even though this will be written off as ridiculous and is partially knowingly so, I do find it interesting that this has not happened yet. It does seem that the absolute pinnacle level is always a restricted field of sorts. Hence India could have multiple A Teams which would win consistently...

Mustn't write off the series though. I'm sure we all remember the 1997 Ashes which I had recorded on VHS.

    Yes this is the key.

I think it is very hard to put anyone on par with McGrath. I get that we're aggregating but he really was special. Cummins stats are similar but I think McGrath was still a superior bowler. Just unstoppable.

Nothing is certain with Uzzy, Smith and Marnus to dismiss and Warner always due a massive score also.

Very good batting. However, next to no runs coming off balls of the right length. Typically they scored if dropped short or too full which was not common. It is why Murphy has been so good, he's barely erred in length at all. Doesn't seem a minefield by any stretch.

Was Boland picked above Hazlewood and Starc? If so, that's crazy.

Jadeja is such a king of cricket. Hopefully Axar sorts himself out and runs through them in the second innings and the team can have a nice rest.

Rohit is an underrated difference. He was very much the difference in the last series against England.

I don't think these numbers tell a clear story here. For example, Australia's spinners were apparently getting more turn than India's. Average turn doesn't really matter also. Surely if nothing is turning for five balls and then one rips hugely then that is enough to put massive doubt into the...

I know I'm alone here but I'm loving everything they've done with Joe Gacy so far. So interesting.

I think it is clear that Pakistan were screwed here by the umpiring. Pakistan are still number two favourites behind England to win the whole thing but I will still enjoy today's victory. Re: running off bowled. It is stupid but so much in cricket is stupid Also that was not a no-ball. Also...

The Stokes deflection makes me irrationally mad and I know it is for no reason. I just have the conspiracy theory in my head that he did it on purpose even though that defies all logic.
