Commentators implied that there will be 90 today but don't quote me on that.

That was a very fun session to watch! I love how obviously Warne wants England to lose, he was furious about that LBW decision not being overturned.

Yes - it defies explanation really. I think 10 wickets is too many to get on this pitch but my word, Thakur knows how to take a wicket when it is needed.

I'm quite chill about losing this one (if we do lose it), uncharacteristically. Because I love that the batting showed up for once - was great to see Pujara looking his old self and Thakur continuing with the runs. I don't really mind what happens from here because even if England chase with no...

Siraj and Jadeja seem to be the only two who have induced anything false from England and even that has been rare. Might be time to pray to the Lord for some divine intervention.

I'm in Charlton, there are clouds but they are high and it is pretty sunny and hot. I don't see this swinging much.

It is Shardul's nickname. Partially because of the inexplicable nature of his performances. He seems an extreme version of a big-match player, in quite a godly way. There is no reason why, for example, he should have two Test fifties despite not being able to string scores together in Ranji...

I know it is not the point you are making but Bumrah looks a changed batsmen recently. Really seems to be focusing. And I love his front foot midwicket shot.

Going to be interesting. I think England are capable of running by 5 wickets and India capable of winning by well over 100 runs. In fact, I think both of those outcomes are more likely than a close finish.

Fun show and a very strong roster.

Yeh - I don't see it. If England win, it'll be with plenty of overs left. Thakur, Pope, Rohit and Woakes (and others) have showed that if you get your eye in you can score quickly.

I don't see this happening. Surely hard to force the scoring below 3 runs per over. If they bowl far wide outside off with no movement then England should be able to score off it.

What a day of cricket - watched the whole day. I think England should feel well up for this as it is an absolute road. Siraj's review should give India some hope that the pacers are capable of producing opportunities. And Jadeja looked a big threat to left handers. Big first session tomorrow.

I'm very positive when cricket isn't currently happening on TV.

Strangely, I'm somewhat optimistic when I saw Jimmy getting hardly any swing. Just gotta hope that there is no swing tomorrow and India can build some momentum.
