    Don Bradman Cricket for PS4

Apparently released last week. Anyone have it or played it? Thoughts?

    Ireland Fans Society

My huge concern if Ireland got Test status would be the number of heritage players who would be recruited or throw their lot in with the Irish and that high proportion of locally produced talent would fall dramatically.

Death Bowling - A Case for the Defence

In Defence of the Yorker I don't necessarily disagree with the OP but I will defend the yorker. It is true that the way players set their weight back in the crease and open their left side makes the yorker less effective than before but that doesn't make it ineffective. Yes, the yorker is...

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

Worth staying up for. Well played Ireland,

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

Yeah they looked pretty but the easiest shots for an average player to play against a quick - poor, wide, overpitched ball, stand still, no back lift needed, no footwork required, just bring the bat down and it goes for 4. The little I have seen of Balbirnie makes me wonder. Not convinced with...

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

Good thing no one in Trinidad is paying attention to this. Carnival starts tonight and all the country is out partying.

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

Big call. No need for WI to worry yet. Long way to go. Id still rather have runs in the bank. May change my mind soon though.

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

This one hand catch thing is dumb. Waiting for someone to fall on a toddler.

Dammit ....when will the revival happen ?

Yeah, between Portugal & Argentina in terms of per capita income and 3-4 times that of Jamaica. That has quadrupled since the turn of the Millennium ($5k US to over $20k US). In 2000 Barbados had double the per capita income of Trinidad but now has far less. The question is how well that money...

Dammit ....when will the revival happen ?

I can only speak for Trinidad but I have spoken to quite a few people in the game here. There are some interesting takeaways. Mainly it is cultural. Planning, coaching and attitude are the causes for concern. Firstly, Trinidad is the 3rd wealthiest country GDP per capita in all the Americas...

No cushion cake references so far in this thread?

    Completely agree.

    5th Match - Ireland v West Indies

I like having a lot of teams involved but I agree with you. Ireland would have a fair chance of making the 10 from the qualifying tournament. As long as there is an open door and a defined path for qualification then I dont have a real issue with a 10 team event.

Dammit ....when will the revival happen ?

Yes, it is a myth for a number of reasons which I have probably mentioned before. The simplest illustration is that in Basketball Jamaica is ranked 55 in the World behind such sporting power houses as Cape Verde. Trinidad and Barbados do not even have a World ranking.

I should not read this thread when I am half an hour behind on my PVR.

Stopped reading after the bolded. Lazy inaccurate nonsense.

Enjoying this from Ireland but you still feel 300 may be on the cards. Beautiful ground.

    *Official* Pro-Wrestling Thread II

It would be if NXT was really developmental.' There is a near brand split at the moment - especially with NXT going on the road. NXT is chock full of honed, experienced indie talent. It isnt really the place now to develop raw talent.
