    Years ago when picking All Time XI's (not a regular pastime I must admit) I used to pick the best two openers, the best three middle order batsman, the best allrounder, the best keeper, best two pacers and best two spinners with no thought of team balance. Gavaskar Hobbs Bradman Richards...
