    *Official* England in NZ 2023

Yeah he's falling over big time. Barely transferring weight on to the front when driving. You can get away on dour decks but can pose a massive problem on decks like this.

That broke my heart. Watching black caps bat is all about watching Conway and Kane. Small pleasure is watching Will Young but would have preferred either Kane or Conway to be there with him. No offense to Latham

That is right, they can only afford to do this second half unless there's lot of sun early in the season. Rachin was smashing every ball pitched up or missing that good length. The areas fast bowlers can bowl and get away is less which is good. They will need to develop consistency and ability...

Nah mate we'll be all right this time around. It's the home ground for Conway, Blundell and bracewell. They'll know how to bat on this

I wasn't too far off the mark then about declaration. We have batting till no 8 we should put some reasonable runs at least 300.

They're trying to get some turn going. We'll only know if that does the job when spinners come on. That's the direction nzc is taking now for the second half of the ps

The new ball is definitely doing lots and easy more bounce today. It's going to be challenging batting. A lot rests on Conway.

Taking the new ball has only hastened runs. Should have continued with bracewell

True that I thought they would but then they went for a drink... disappointing

The commentators saying Bracewell has done a good job for going for 54 off 10 overs. Such is the impact

So rachin has adopted bazzball... scoring 33 at 8 RPO and getting out on the boundary. Reckon bazzball will come alive in our domestic cricket across teams?

Wow... they declared. Crazy stuff. Maybe they want to bat again

Yeah I have. Comes from the same school as Troy brothers, Sears and Ravindra. Not as consistent but definitely has lot of potential. I think he has one or two hundred at most across club cricket. Good aggressive player and a reasonable left arm spinner. More of a late middle order player that...

On that note watched some local club cricket over the weekend. Hutt district were chasing like 100 runs and guess who got them across after having struggled to like 50 for 7? Ben Sears batting at 4 and Ravindra strode to the middle at no 9 or 10 and got over the line with so much class it wasn't...

He has only bowled like 10 overs this season in PS

*Official* New Zealand domestic season 2022/23

Definitely not as bad. Back spasms. He's playing club cricket, batting a bit and bowling few overs here and there. One of the hardest working guy in the setup. Injuries are definitely not due to lack of effort but with a bit more strength he should give us 8-10 years of top level cricket. That...

Quit cricket. Didn't think it was worth the mental stress.

    *Official* England in NZ 2023

I had a chance to meet one player from our squad prior the series and asked him if he's prepared well. He said we're going to be smashed. I said he must be joking and definitely bazzball won't have a chance in our conditions but he knew what was coming I guess :p Let's hope we score good runs...

Not sure if you watched the game fully, Darryl Mitchell was bowling quicker than Wagner. Wagner ended up bowling most overs and went for over 100 runs. Let's hope they bowl Macewell in the 2nd inning
