*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Stfu. In the 1st Test in Perth, if it is a green seamer and India get bowled out for 60 and 150. Meanwhile Aus get 350, but Bumrah takes all 10/120 after bowling 48 long overs, is that really a world class performance? if it takes him and India forever to dismiss Australia on that pitch.

India has only played 4 Tests in NZ in the last 15 years. Even if you go back 40+ years, India has only played 15 Tests in NZ and about half of these tests have been drawn. Meanwhile since 2000, India's won 6 out of 26 Tests vs England away India's won 6 out of 24 Tests vs Australia away I...

But allowed India to score 325 on a pitch where NZ were 62 all out in the innings that followed. It was a 200 par score kind of track.

Looks like he could be missing one of the tests due to having a child around that time.

But his bowling has gone down and down. He was running out of gas after just a few overs yesterday and speeds in the 128-138 range.

Green is injured so only Smith is missing from the established batters. (Marsh might not be fully fit either btw) It makes sense for fast bowlers to only play 1 round max given that there have been so many injuries in the reserves. And I don't think fast bowlers need that much practice. They...

Better test bat: Dravid vs Sangakkara

People look at raw average, even former players do (who work in media) and retrospectively start rating him higher.

Road to India in Australia 2024-25

It is a very long test series and bowlers don't want to get injured in the pre-season or put unnecessary miles in their legs. Most of the Aus batters are playing in the shield though so they are taking it seriously enough. And I bet almost everyone will play the 2nd round.

I expect a must better outing from Pakistani bowlers this Test.

Yeah I agree. Ian Chappell is spot on. I'd also move Marsh into opening position as he isn't really gonna bowl much or I'd get a specialist opener. From India's POV, though, I'd like to see Head open. At least one big threat will be dealt with early.

Better test bat: Dravid vs Sangakkara

He looked gone around 2007- 2008. 2007, 10 Tests @ 35.6 2008, 15 Tests @ 30.9 25+ Tests where his output had fallen in half. Then he had a rebound so ultimately it proved to be a good decision. I am just saying in terms of career average and how players are rated these days... where averages...

Better test bat: Dravid vs Sangakkara

He's changed his mind now and said he'd want to play for as long as possible. In fact, he is even open to playing in the LA Olympics 2028! Retiring early is easier said than done because it is incredibly hard to walk away from something you have done your whole life and once you retire, you are...
