    **Official** England in New Zealand

He reminds me a bit of Chris Harris. Very handy batsman but almost a liability with his running. Of course, its early days for Bopara so it may just be a blip right now.

This lad Bopara is diobolical between the wickets. On current form, it defies belief that he's keeping Mascarenhas out of the side.

Not yet. Millmow's on a national scale. Jones stems to a number of countries.

Yes, Millmow's article did get a fair going over in the Radio Sport office, I can tell you that!

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2007/08

I don't know if anyone realised but Richard Sherlock returned to domestic cricket yesterday for Central Districts. I'll have to talk to Canterbury coach Dave Nosworthy about that because as far as i'm aware, he thought Sherlock would be returning to Canterbury after a long lay off. Anyway...

Official Under 19 World Cup thread

Probably one of NZ's best U19 sides in awhile I think. Kane Williamson, Corey Anderson and Tim Southee are already playing domestic cricket at the ages of 17 and 18. Those are the 3 to watch out for..very very good players. The other is Trent Boult, he's ridiculously quick for an 18 year old...

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2007/08

Papps has been very good for Canterbury but I think it's been established about 3 or 4 times over the last 4 years that Papps struggles to adjust to the step up to international level. You can get away with an 'iffy' technique in domestic cricket but at international level there's far more...

    **Official** England in New Zealand

Right...just a few points. As im fortunate to be at Radio Sport, i've been getting a lot closer to the action and talk these days. I've been fortunate to do a few interviews recently with the likes of Mike Atherton, Dan Vettori, former coach Denis Aberhart etc and it's been interesting to gauge...

That is quite frankly terrible batting considering how badly Lee bowled in that over.

not to mention McCullum is already batting well outside his crease!

I don't think Wad's will ever retire! haha. It's a good chance for Andrew though. I'm not sure whether my career in radio will stay in sports/talkback..but it's good fun and you get to meet and talk to alot of well known sporting people.

Vincent's confidence is completely shot right now. To be honest i'd have been tempted to throw How in as opener and give Hopkins a slot in the middle order.

Andrew Alderson is a freak when it comes to cricket, that man knows everything!

    ***Official*** New Zealand in Australia

G'day boys and girls. Well it's summer time again so I thought i'd stick my neck in here to see what;s been going on. I currently work for Radio Sport over here in Auckland so i've been fortunate to be speaking to some of the Black Caps on the phone namely Mills and How and yep they're a...

ah yes, I forgot that Malinga was injured. I stand corrected on that.

    New Zealand Black Caps Thread

It's funny to see people ripping into Sri Lanka because if Sri Lanka win the tournament, we could well end up calling it a master stroke. Though its fairly obvious that they were trying to shield Murali, Vaas and Malinga from Australia...spinning that they needed a rest when their last and now...

    Super Eight

Oh come on, surely nobody here was actually expecting England to win!!!?? lol. Well I suppose the opponent was South Africa. Stephen Fleming said before the World Cup that he reckoned every side would lose a match. Well he's been almost correct. Australia are the only team left...

    Semi Finals

Since their (and including) 2003 World Cup match, NZ have played Sri Lanka 14 times. Currently, both teams have won 7 games and that also includes the recent World Cup match at St Georges. It is very even, so if the two teams meet in the semi final..it could really go either way.

    Super Eight

The problem for Bangladesh is that they are taking a few giant steps forward then a couple backwards. But, they have shown they can compete in more games than previously so the future is good if Ireland and Bangladesh are at least applying some pressure right now.
