    **Official** Zimbabwe in Pakistan 2015

Even though I still think this tour is a bad idea, I must admit feeling emotional seeing cricket return to Pakistan. How I wish we lived in a different world where Pakistan was not deprived of its favorite sport. Hope the rest of the tour goes off without a hitch and everyone stays safe.

    **Official** Zimbabwe in Pakistan 2015

Oh boy. Shouldn't be happening, but since it's confirmed and all, might as well create an official thread for it. Tour fixtures: 1st T20I: Pakistan v Zimbabwe at Lahore on May 22, 2015 (19:00 local | 14:00 GMT) 2nd T20I: Pakistan v Zimbabwe at Lahore on May 24, 2015 (19:00 local | 14:00 GMT)...

Zimbabwe to tour Pakistan despite players' security concerns

That's almost certainly the case. Zimbabwe had sent a delegation prior to the attacks to assess the security arrangements and had expressed their general satisfaction. I'm sure the Karachi attack made them reconsider.

Zimbabwe to tour Pakistan despite players' security concerns

Wise decision taken by the Zimbabwe Cricket Board. Pakistan is not a safe country at the moment. It breaks my heart that International cricket can't return to such a cricket-mad country, but there are bigger things to worry about in Pakistan atm.

Mohammed Amir cleared to return with immediate effect

Looking forward to his return to International cricket. If only to see the existential angst that it will apparently produce here.

Zimbabwe to tour Pakistan despite players' security concerns

This tour should not happen. Sadly, Pakistan is not safe as a country for foreign teams to come visit. Even if this tour goes off without a hitch (and that's a big if), I fear it will present a false picture of security to both the Pakistanis and any cricketing nation wanting to tour the...

J + L = R would be a dynamite theory to discuss! ;-) Kidding aside, I understand it's a fan theory and not something definitively stated in the books. But it's a fan theory based on strong hints provided in the book. None of those hints have been shown on the show. I'd like to "protect" the...

Hi there. Regarding the GoT thread, I get that you may think posting book theories, such as Jon's true parentage, is not that big a deal. However, there are many non-book readers that do mind those type of discussions. Can you please refrain from that going forward please? :-)

Just FYI- what Harsh posted in the GoT thread is a popular fan theory, not a fact stated in the books. Hope that takes away the sting of the spoiler somewhat.

Nah I was being facetious. But there is a chance that he doesn't actually know how it ends (even though nearly everyone assumed Walt would die or go to prison). I'd say to delete/modify it just to be on the safe side. I don't think Flem cares either way though, ftr. Edit: Never mind, I see...

I had to un-follow Shoaib Malik on twitter (I don't know why I followed him in the first place tbh) because of the incessant re-tweets. For God's sake man, have some ****ing dignity!

1st Semi Final - New Zealand v South Africa (24th March)

Ummm Mr. DJ - playing the theme from M*A*S*H might seem like the right thing to do when someone's injured...until you realize the theme song is called "Suicide is painless".

    Pakistan Thread

I've seen a lot of this sentiment on social media (not sure if you're being serious here or not, but just referencing the overall sentiment). Let's tap the breaks. I love his passion and that was the best spell of fast bowling I've seen in ages, but he just now recently secured his spot in the...

    3rd Quarter Final - Australia v Pakistan (20th March)

Very possibly the last ODI match for Misbah, Younis, and Afridi. Three legends of Pakistani cricket (yes, even that **** Afridi). So long fellas, thanks for the memories.

Congratulations Australia. Obviously the far superior team.

    3rd Quarter Final - Australia v Pakistan (20th March)

Most likely yes. But I would've liked to have seen Australia under pressure with 4 down and the Pakistani bowlers smelling blood. Pressure produces a lot of interesting things. Too bad we didn't get to see that scenario.

Time to bring back Wahab. What little chance we have depends on getting quick wickets in the next few overs.
