Final: England v Italy (In London, England)

Reading reports that fans without tickets have managed to break into the stadium? Anyone able to shed light on just how difficult that'd be at Wembley? The bigger games I've attended you would've struggled to get within a kilometre of the stadium without a ticket. Fingers crossed there's no...

    Euro 2020 General Discussion

Massively agree with this, especially as a neutral. Before the tournament I would've definitely been happy to see it spread around more and more, and maybe it just is the impact of covid, but I certainly got sick of seeing the inside of the same studio with the same commentators for the build up...

Semifinal: England v Denmark (in London, UK)

It was an issue for a while I reckon, with players from the attack just jostling their way into the wall to try and create a gap. The attacking players genuinely aren't trying to play the ball, only physically disrupt opposition players, so in my eyes anything to make it clearly outlawed was a...

    Player of the tournament

The centre back pairing have been quite strong from what I've seen as well. I wouldn't be totally shocked if it went to Kjaer either.

Semifinal: Italy v Spain (in London, UK)

Chiellini's whole attitude at the toss for the shootout was hilarious. I'd love to see if he can keep the same lighthearted nature in a final.

Semifinal: Italy v Spain (in London, UK)

Thiago put a little jump in his and went the other way. I tend to agree it's the more likely side though, especially if the keeper doesn't move at all.

    Euro 2020 General Discussion

Not sure when they've met otherwise, but Argentina-Germany has been the World Cup final three times. Edit: Completely misunderstood. That would surely be a record.

Round of 16: England v Germany (in London, UK)

Hummels has certainly slowed down these days, fully expect Kane to find space at some point because he just can't close him down quick enough. Also expecting Werner to score a really calm, composed goal just to make everyone wonder where that ability was all season.

Round of 16: England v Germany (in London, UK)

I just think Mount or Foden would offer a little bit more in terms of helping England to keep the ball, and more importantly I view them as better in the final third. I don't think he's quite there yet in terms of his play in and around the box, and what he offers over the rest of the pitch...

Round of 16: England v Germany (in London, UK)

Yeah, as good as I think Saka is I don't think he's quite earned that starting spot yet. A lot of pressure on Kane and Sterling as a result as well. For England's sake I hope Southgate is at least proactive with his bench. Even if things are even at the hour mark then some of that firepower on...

Round of 16: Croatia v Spain (in Copenhagen, Denmark)

Yeah, I was really questioning why he was still out there and someone like Torres got benched. Shut me up quickly.

Round of 16: Croatia v Spain (in Copenhagen, Denmark)

Not sure what's worse, the keeper's mistake earlier or conceding a goal because you were drinking a bottle of water.

Round of 16: Croatia v Spain (in Copenhagen, Denmark)

Commentators earlier said 18 in Euros history, 9 in this tournament. Not sure if they specified if the 9 are included in that 18 though.

Round of 16: Croatia v Spain (in Copenhagen, Denmark)

These Spanish corners with two players standing over the ball look particularly dumb when they don't look threatening from going short OR direct. If they get caught short on a counter they've only themselves to blame.
