    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Maxwell getting to 15-20 odd and getting out probably the most predictable thing to ever happen

Is Ravichandran Ashwin an ATG test bowler?

Yeah so it's really individual semantics. I think we decided earlier in this thread that the question isn't really "is Ashwin an ATG" it's "how far does each person extend their definition of ATG and does it reach Ashwin"
  3. TheJediBrah

Is Ravichandran Ashwin an ATG test bowler?

It is if you're trying to classify the very best of the best. Make it 77 "greats" and about 30 ATGs is better. Or if it's a semantic issue go with 77 ATGs and 30 "ATG+'s" or something

Is Ravichandran Ashwin an ATG test bowler?

77 ATGs is ridiculous IMO Just hand em out to anyone why don't you

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Sutherland and Maxwell have to emulate Cummins and Maxwell v Afganistan here
  6. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Chris Green is looking VERY chucky today

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

On a flat wicket, with the (20 over old) white ball, he really can't be bowling at this stage

Discussing Bazball approach in Test Cricket

This is only true for some players, definitely not all

Discussing Bazball approach in Test Cricket

Yes. There are times when batting time is the better option depending on conditions and state of the game

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Weird how people forget how good Clark was. He went toe to toe with McGrath for the brief year or so they were together. Probably outbowled him tbh. I love McAndrew but there's no way he's averaging 24 in Test cricket like Clark did
  13. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

True. But while McAndrew is a good bowler, he's definitely not on the level of Clark or Harris. They were ATG level bowlers for the brief periods they were around and good
  14. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Has the Test levels of a 19 year old on anabolics though
  15. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Shouldn't really be the case considering they already have all-rounders Manenti and McAndrew as 2 of their best players. Adding an extra #batdeep spot would help anyone though I guess

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Young Shaun is probably not quite ready, needs another couple of seasons before joining his brother in the Test side
  17. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Good day to be a domestic trundler with the surname Elliott
  18. TheJediBrah

Would Shane Warne have been an ATG Test Captain?

Did alright in that first IPL year. He would have been mercurial one way or the other. Probably have moments of brilliance and moments of stupidity
  19. TheJediBrah

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Generally have to wait 6 weeks before there would be any point visiting

Best bowler to average over 30 ?

Both higher than Lyon's hair follicle count, or Testosterone level
