Front foot players generally don't mind batting on there, a few have our guys have been out bowled trying to pull in previous matches though so everyone knows to stay forward. Yeah he loves bowling on there, he doesn't actually pick up a huge amount of wickets on that deck though being a big...

I like how they have Martin Crowe(along with John Wright) doing batting coaching with and around New Zealand. From listening to him on T.V for all these years he seems like a real nit-picker when it comes to breaking down every aspect of batting techniques and appears to have a very deep passion...

Instead of who sorry? Lol. Weston and Thompson will be tussling for that 11th spot, and don't think Worker's bowling form is good enough to warrant preference over them. I think Ross Taylor fancies himself a bit lol, haven't seen Jamie How bowl for a while either he used to be a useful offie

Man thats such a insane injury must have been a ****in' tough rehabilitation too You were looking good with the bat just when that guy gets his slower ball straight and full it is so hard to pick up and yeah the pitch is a shocker and it is extremely tough on visiting teams to come in and play...

He's scored more runs for WA than for the under-19s "facing 125km bowlers", ffs No one here has denied that Hughes is a classy batsman, it is just you trying to compare apples with oranges

Should also mention that I saw Howsie bowl on Saturday and he's pretty sharp, especially for someone who just ambles into the crease, haha. Is it true that you once snapped your femur upon delivery stride? Some guys in my team were telling me that, man that sounds horrific to say the very least

Yeah Neesham looked right at home, especially given he came to the wicket in an extremely difficult situation. I missed the first innings so it seems very perplexing to me as to why Hira only bowled just the one over for a mere three runs, and Styris only bolwed three going at less than six...

Considering he has built his reputation to date from succeeding against top Australian domestic bowlers, not under-19 bowlers as you allude to, then I think it is fair to call you an idiot

I guess Masakadza carting him was too much for the national selectors

Boof? Seems extremely unlikely, lol. I'm happy with them picking Taylor - only fitting candidate anyway. I hope whoever suggested that it will affect Taylor's game isn't also complaining about McCullum not getting the job. For me Taylor>McCullum in regards to all leadership responsibilities.

Yeah, Greg Morgan is unlucky enough not to have got a game

Ideal T20 figures- or do they mean much?

It is hard to judge because alot of players are still very inexperienced, over time though you will be able to read alot into the T20 statistics. Also alot of bits & pieces players can have very undefined roles, and it is just a matter of them having game time to see what sort of contributions...

Yeah amazing efforts from Cribb, Hawker & Scott against a top class Red seam attack.

Shahadat due for a big tour one feels, they definitely need someone in their pace attack to lead by example

Yeah shows how much we miss Read in this format. Well batted Garven & Scott, just too bad their combined scores made up over 75% of our total. Not sure why I was taken off after getting three LBW appeals in my 9th over but was happy with the way I finished my spell after getting carted early on...

Definitely our 4 most proven - no question about that. But when you look at his last 7 ODI's(44 runs@6.29) you can see why the selectors want to try other options in the batting department. Don't get me wrong I am to say the least appalled that he was left out of the T20 side, but am happy to...

Nah I dont. I was born there but left when I was 12 when my parents moved. Played 4 seasons rugby & cricket in Hamilton then decided to return to my roots. I played rugby with Calv last year he'll know me by my username, haha. He was trying to get me to play for Te Aroha last time we played...
