  • At the moment I don't have a life but InshAllah moving to Scotland next week to start a full time job. So will be difficult to be in 2 drafts.
    Hi smalishah84,

I'm very grateful for the kind words and open support; tbh if not for posts by you and BW and a couple of others in support I would have given up here as the clueless crowd who just echo received opinion seem to seriously outnumber the people who watch and think for themselves.

I will be dropping in less often going forward; I was only able to post so much recently because I had a bit of time on my hands. There will be less of it going forward but will definitely be popping in now and then, not only for England Tests but for those involving Pakistan, SL (my favourite batsman is Sanga), SA (2nd favourite bat Amla, love watching Steyn and Philander), and Aus (3rd favourite bat Clarke, but look forward to seeing how Pattinson, Cummins and co develop as together they could be absolutely lethal in years to come).

Anyway, all the best and look forward to catching up with you soon.
    Salam,

Were you at the match today, and will you go tomorrow? The reason I'm asking is because my cousin is visiting Dubai and he was at the match today and will be going tomorrow.
Dude, PEWS's retort proved my point :) . I was talking about the squatting position which is common to the subcontinent.`
Tough to tell, who would go right now unless someone decides it to call it a day after this series.

Unless You guys actually come when you are scheduled too(or any other series is arranged), the next series is quite a bit far off. 5/6 months IIRC.

But at the same time can't see the selectors being able to retain the same team either this time. Laxman will probably be the first in the firing line, followed by Dravid. The openers are under a lot of pressure too, i guess.

Seeing some calls about Sachin and Dhoni too after a while, so all is open.
Indeed, the manner in which there has been no fight shown and total succumbing has been shocking. Australia aren't a great team right now either, which makes it worse.

And regarding Ajmal, agree with you that the English media is questioning his action because their players are struggling so much against him. They(along with Aussie media) have a habit of backing their team in this way by putting pressure on the opposition through all means.

Though at the same time, have to admit some of his Teesra's was pretty dodgy. Good thing that he has stopped bowling them now.
    Hoping the same tbh.

More interested in this match right now, than the India match(If you could call it that). :p
It's just stirring up what happened to sledger's banning when it's not really necessary. I think it's been mentioned by mods before that adding a smiley after something doesn't mean you can say things that might stir up trouble.
