  • Smali - I've done all the emails that are marked read - I'll do the others later on today.
I agree with Fusion that he can't end corruption in 90 days. And also that terrorism is a huge issue in Pkaistan. But there are many important issues and we can't say that we should concentrate on one and ignore the others. We have to tackle of them at the same time.
So what does "corruption at the top" mean? Does he mean that only HE as PM won't be corrupt? If so, why would that take him 90 days? Or does he mean his cabinet members (again, why 90 days?)? CEO's of companies or the heads of all government run institutions? Whatever he means by "top", it’s completely unrealistic to believe that he can get rid of corruption that's been ingrained in our society for 60 years! And if he fails, can I then consider him a failed PM and ask for him to resign (as ending corruption is the main platform of his party)?
Since people will send their replies in different formats (and sometimes in different spellings for name of players), I don't think that there's an easy way. If everyone sent in the same format and same spelling, automating the whole thing would've been easy.
some manual work. if you like though I can help you tally up the scores and you can concentrate on the articles.
Yeah it's tough to decide, I'm happy with my list though. 4 all rounders, 10 bowlers, 10 batsman and a keeper in my 25.
Yeah for sure mate. the way it worked last time was that everyone had to email forum member the sean with their top 25 players of all time. He gave points out say (25 for 1st, 24 for 2nd, 23 for 3rd) etc and worked who the top 50 players were. He then did a reverse countdown from 50th to 1st to work out CW's best.

You of course can make your own twist to it
Smali, I reckon it's your chance to start that CW top 50 Test cricketers of all time thread..
Smaili, I have never disputed that the Bhuttos were/are corrupt. When have you heard me state otherwise? I even concede that Imran is an honorable man who personally wouldn’t be corrupt if he ever becomes PM. However, my main disagreement with you and Imran is that I don’t think corruption is the country’s biggest problem; but rather extremism is. Also, even if Imran tried his best, he can’t get rid of corruption without basic stability and security in the country. Lastly, he needs to present a more realistic plan than “I will get rid of corruption in 90 days”. That’s just laughable.
An interesting but really article. It was written in 1998, I'm sure that since then a few more Billions have been stashed away in off-shore accounts. And you can't limit the Bhutto's, because the Sharif's, Musharraf, Altaf Hussain and countless other politicians are just as guilty. They say in excess of 50 Billion has been stolen. No wonder Pakistan is a **** hole.
yeah been busy with work and also some good developments on the personal front ;)
OK, hopefully when we win the Asia cup, we should adopt the same avatar (Ajmal/Afridi/Ukmal), just like those kohli ****s.
Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is the largest organisation in the UK in terms of revenue. Their job is to collect taxes from the whole country through (Income tax, Corporation tax, Customs, etc). It's a government body.
