Answer to 6 was me ....although he was only about 9 at the time.it was during a lunch break knockabout at Ropery Lane and his dad was playing for Durham. I declined to mention he hit me and my mate for a couple of big hits as well.

5 The 2004 combo of Leon King and Arnie Blignaut would take some beating. @The Red Telephone cv suggests he might have been a better signing.

Answer to 6 was me ....although he was only about 9 at the time.it was during a lunch break knockabout at Ropery Lane and his dad was playing for Durham. I declined to mention he hit me and my mate for a couple of big hits as well.

Funny enough I saw him play boundary cricket with a couple of other nippers in 1979 at Consett CC during the Durham v Cheshire 2 dayer. This was shortly after New Zealand had lost to England in the World Cup Semi Final, Chris was aged 9 yrs old and features playing boundary cricket in the World Cup magazine
