In Today’s semi-final at Dubai I could hardly spot very few Australian supporters .
I don't think many Aussies would buy tickets (air & flight) plus accommodation for a match they didn't know they'd be playing in until about 48 hours ago

And the fans in the stadium who never seem to acknowledge good play by the opposition.
I would say we are too emotionally invested in the game to appreciate the players in the real time . If you ask after the match many of us certainly appreciate opposition players.
For example I have mentioned many times here that it is a miracle that NZ with a 5 million population manage to outplay India in ICC tournaments.

There are lot of English people in Dubai. I would believe there must be atleast 1000 people from Australia working in Dubai

And @Silly Point 2.0 - have a feeling you have no idea what you are talking about, so lets drop pretensions to knowing things that you clearly dont, heh?
Care to expand, oh cryptic one?

I'd do it sooner rather than later tbh, before Hull City kick off and really put me in a bad mood.

Being clueless never stops you lot banging on about things to do with the UK though does it? Two can play that game. We're all still living off colonialism apparently, including single parents in council flats struggling to make enough money to feed their kids?

It should also be noted that no one really dislikes the Indian players (Kohli can be a bit of a knob occasionally, but they're largely a decent bunch). The issue is far more with the authorities than the actual team.
Yeah what makes it hard for me.

As they are so talented anyway so, they didn't need the leg up they've had to get to the final and likely win it. Barring something miraculous from one of the other semi finalists.

Whatever it takes!!!
no the indian posters in this forum have gone too far. it's bad enough and a disgrace to sports that this has occurred, and then for two threads to be made gloating about the subject and calling for further action against the host nation is just plainly disrespectful.
LIterally the opposite of what the OP wrote but sure, see what you wanna see.

Where exactly have anyone of the Indian fans spoken about UK's relationships with other countries, except in the actual UK politics thread?

We are to Cricket what England is to football i.e. people love when we are defeated.
Yeah but the only difference is England don't go into every tournament as favorites. They've sucked for decades just like their cricket team. Only recently they've managed to do well in international tournaments.

England losing in any sport in general is always beautiful to witness tho

Will disagree . Competetion in Football is much greater than Cricket . So it is very difficult to be favourites. Although England not winning a WC since 1966 is still funny .

Richest domestic league in the world creating creating a monopoly in the process. Largely through foreign ownership aka state funded Arab money and Russian money.

I'm sure they pour billions into their football infrastructure too. They are perennial bottlers and underachievers. 1 trophy in their entire football history is pretty disgraceful tbh.

Cricket has become too much India centric in last 10 years . This is rightly annoying the neutrals. So we will get blamed for things for which we might not be responsible. Can’t do anything
It will continue to be that way for the foreseeable future just like with US and basketball.

IPL will become more important than international cricket and will churn out numbers comparable to the Superbowl. Thats the future I see for cricket.

No one can stop this monopoly.

The problem with English football IS the Premier League. If it got disbanded tomorrow and the rich clubs ****ed off to their own league then I reckon the game as a whole would really benefit.

Why aren't you touring Zimbabwe when other countries are?
Not a good example for you really. When England decided they couldn't play in Zimbabwe, they didn't, which effectively knocked them out of the 2003 World Cup, a tournament they'd have had a chance of making the Final in. When India decide they cannot play in Pakistan, the ICC bends over backwards to include them.
