I know everybody particularly aussies and Englishman are unhappy that india gets unfair advantage playing in dubai. My replay would that this tournament is organized under hybrid model which would be replicated in future when india hosts icc tournament with Pakistan playing all its matches in dubai inculding final . Dont you guys think its unfair to put all the blame on india when pakistan also does same when we host. I would have been first to be critical of india and bcci if india alone doesn't tour Pakistan and pak tours india but here pak too isn't required to play in india. Would request everyone to plz be rational before being critical of one country

England football team hasn't boycotted playing at another countries' major tournament though, so bore off with this "we are the underdog" bollocks

It should also be noted that no one really dislikes the Indian players (Kohli can be a bit of a knob occasionally, but they're largely a decent bunch). The issue is far more with the authorities than the actual team.

Doubt you will play in Russia if a FIFA tournament is organised there . However Europe and USA will never allow Russia to host any important tournament.
Your Countries didn’t allow even Russian players to participate in World Chess Olympiad last year .
So appropriate comparison would be when BCCI forces ICC to not allow Pakistan in any ICC tournament .

This. Players and majority of fans and people are great, as I discovered on my travels last year, but the authorities from government to sporting body are a disgrace. Important to make the distinction nevertheless.

Only because people other than those playing the actual sports, in both countries, make it very easy to dislike the countries as a whole sadly.
