Mahmudullah could and did play some extremely good innings, but they were still fairly few and far between. Had a high ceiling but low consistency. Had some absurd hundreds

Also led to Salman Agha taking way too many risks, playing t20 style and ultimately resulting in his dismissal. Guy scored 40 odd off 20 balls. Imagine if he had support from the other end. It was a pathetic innings all in all. Epitomised Pakistan's meek and timid chase.

I just checked and all of Mahmudullah's hundreds were either World Cup knocks or at a Champions Trophy
