Its really unfair on Pakistan with how this CT is set up ..
They get a hard game to start vs NZ , a team that's had outstanding preparation in Pakistan , Pakistan then have to travel 4000 KM out of their country for basically a knockout game vs India , then travel back about 5000KM to Rawalpindi to face Bangladesh.
It really should have been Pakistan vs India to start the tournament so that Pakistan can stay in Pakistan for the rest of the tournament or atleast give them Bangladesh first up..
NZ will stay in Pakistan to face Bangladesh next. Pakistan are hosts in name only lol very little advantage logistically.

They will likely be the first team knocked out of this tournament, whilst 2 of the 3 knockout games (including the Final) seem almost certain to be played in Dubai. If/When India do go on to win it, maybe it'll make other countries think about whether they really want to just lay these tournaments on a plate for them, is the money really worth it?

I do take your point that this is a bit of a farce although flying from Karachi to Dubai isn't really much of a journey (a lick over 2 hours flight). The flight to Rawalpindi (Islamabad) is just over 3 hours and obviously is a good deal more inconvenient. I remember being in the middle east (Abu Dhabi) and seeing lots of flights to Pakistan and thinking that the nearest parts aren't that far away. It is still rubbish though.
