Vandersay , Hasaranga, Rashid (Twice) and now Rishad ..

Definitely a weakness due to not being able to cut the ball effectively off the backfoot

Crazy for an 'all time great' to have such obvious weaknesses

Susceptible to off stump line in tests and vulnerable against leg spin in ODI's

With Kohli's rapid decline, I've noticed one weak area in this Indian team in recent months. Lack of a finisher. They haven't closed games convincingly at all. Someone needs to take responsibility of finishing games for India.

India have struggled with a finisher for a long long time.

Post Dhoni, we had Kohli finish games from time to time. Now with Kohli woefully out of form, there's none out there who could stay until the end

Rinku has that kind of temperament but they don't play him in ODI cricket. I hope young Nitish can fill in that role in the future.

You usually predict Australia to win it all the way. Didn't expect you to come up with an excuse so early in the tournament..given up on the weak on paper aussie team already? I won't rule any aussie team out.
