Sachin's away record without BangladeshIn relation to Sachin, considering the other issues, it is relatively underwhelming.
India were quite on the weaker side of things and he did averaged 111 hereSachin's away record without Bangladesh
7885 @ 51.5, 47.2 RPI, 7 innings per hundred
Sobers's away record
3957 @ 50.7, 46.5 RPI, 7.08 innings per hundred.
I'm not seeing it.
Batting position sure, but at the end of the day he performed at his best at 4 as well. So there's nothing saying that he could perform at that position.Batting position, longevity, better away record
well then only strong teams were Australia and England.India were quite on the weaker side of things and he did averaged 111 here
I know you're trying to be stupid and prove a point that doesn't exist.Cook played quite a few more than Sobers iirc
People are disproportionately focussed on minnows, when hardly anyone plays more than a few games against them. It's 3.5% of Sachins games for Bangers. 40% of Sobers games were against the poor sides from his era. The weren't Bangers weak, but the cumularive impact on quality of playing that many is going to be much greater.Sachin's away record without Bangladesh

That Hadlee played longer and you brought a silly point.I know you're trying to be stupid and prove a point that doesn't exist.
But Hadlee and Marshall actually played in the same era and one had a crazy concentrated schedule, most overseas as well.
Again, what's your point.
er, the 90s England and Pre Murali Sri Lanka sides were weak as well, doesn't mean we can discard those performances imoPeople are disproportionately focussed on minnows, when hardly anyone plays more than a few games against them. Which is Great and all, but I think Sachin just faced more challenges with a greater variety of top attacks.well then only strong teams were Australia and England.
Sobers: 2747 @ 50.87, 48 RPI
Sachin in SA + AusSA and Aus.
not sure I can agreeWhich is Great and all, but I think Sachin just faced more challenges with a greater variety of top attacks.
Batting position, home featherbeads with a relatively underwhelming away record, and playing a disproportionate proportion of career against B tier teams.
Greater variety of attacks in inarguable.not sure I can agree

Yes.Sachin is slowly becoming overrated on this site.
You should support that since you don't rate Bradman and it helps to downgrade him.Yes.
It's mirroring the outside world where he's soon going to be seen as greater than Bradman.
ATG spinners and four worldclass pace bowling pairs in the 90s.define the variety
Revisionist history in action.I'm as big a Sachin fan as anyone but there is no clear gap ahead of Sobers.
